Our second full day has been good sailing with starry nights and a late rising moon. The wind has been forward of the beam, but the seas have been quite flat and we made 7 knots through most of the night. Today, the wind has eased down and veered to the south east so we now have full sail up, but are being pushed further west. We cleaned the hull before we left to meet New Zealand bio security rules, which has the added benefit that we sail better.

Our arrival is still uncertain due to the weather systems over New Zealand. Friday 1st November is now looking like a possibility.

Distance run in the 24 hours to Midday Wednesday - 148nm
