We passed the halfway mark yesterday, 10 days of sailing. The weather is still kind to us most of the time with starlit nights and sunny days, just the occasional shower at night. Early Tuesday the wind went right round from East through South and West and then settled down from N of east. We sailed round with it, at one time heading back East! This new wind direction means that we can make a very good course just North of the direct line and hopefully keeping clear of any stronger winds to the South. As we approach the Marquesas, maybe the end of next week, we will have to head down around expected calm patches.
