Saturday 18 July  Raz and conveyor to L`Aberwrach 57NM

Early trip to market. Depart Audierne town marina 0815, soon after HW, as access only HW+-3, and pick up buoy off Ste Evette for breakfast. Need to wait as only a couple of hours to the Raz, which must hit bang on LW (1241 French time) to avoid rough water/standing wave and have 7hrs of favourable tide to get to L`Aberwrach, nearly 50NM up and around. 9 boats converge on Raz, heading both ways. Dead flat, but rain showers. Slight breeze, but on the nose all day as head W, then N and eventually NE, so motor does most of work. Bit bumpy N end of Chenal du Four. Arrive L`Aberwrach marina 2000, making sure chartplotter has good snail trail as will be leaving in darkness tomorrow. Lovely meal ashore
