Saturday 11 July Frisky beat to marina at Bourgenay on mainland 18NM

Another visit to market (to stock up on Ile de Re salt) waiting for tide. Creep out with plate up soon after marina lock gate opens. Take short cut over bar and head NW. Wind WNW!! Arrive Bourgenay marina 1700. Friendly HM on radio to give directions to berth. Interesting walk S along coast. Fun band ashore. No Judy Fischer – tied up with guests.
