Thursday 16 July pickup Simon and Michell, slog W and turn back to shelter in Port Manech 28NM

…… fog has gone. Provision up. Motor across to Kernevel Marina to pickup crew and fuel. Hoping to get to Glenans, but wind freshens to Wf5 (dead beat) and sunset approaching, so turn round and scream 4NM downwind to Port Manech. Pick up visitors buoy just outside small craft. Last visited with Chaz and Rosemary. Pretty place. Others arriving for shelter head further upriver. S&M duck ashore. Sun comes out.
