9 September Shortish hop S to lovely bay of Sivota, landlocked bay on S tip of Levkas, for night at anchor

Depart Spartakhori 1315

Arrive Sivota 1530 9nm

Sun again, bit of breeze (Sf2/3), but on the nose as exit Meganisi Strait

Two shore parties to visit village up high. Let Poles slip from inboard. Do a washing load. Girls do much swimming.Depart, hoist sails immediately as following breeze out of inlet as head N. Turn to port to head S thro Meganisi Strait. Wind now on the nose but D`fly sailing well. 4.5knts sheets slightly eased tacking down strait. Keep ahead of two larger yachts doing likewise. Wind fades as exit strait so motor last few miles to Sivota. Anchor in 20ft. Sun goes down behind mountain early. Girls find happy hour ashore. We later find flat beer.Dead calm night. Many cockerels at dawn.
