Sent blog v late yesterday. Forgot to mention that Capri ice cream mafia got an extra euro from Jan. Didn't pay exact money for 3 luvly ice creams, so change was 9 euros and one euro withheld as a tip, to only give 10 change (from a 20). Big chap so best not to argue!  Also should have mentioned the super yacht along from us  (Prana) had uplights on the spreaders (and as seen from yesterdays photo, loads of em) and under water lights all round the hull. They must look spectacular in  Caribbean waters. Anyway, back to D`fly, ready to leave at 0600 but thunderstorms and squalls drifting across the bay so decided to stay put for a while. Italian 46ft  charter yacht had come in to ferry quay late last night and was kicked off when they started running this morning, so tried to moor next to us. Another speedy skip – approach far to fast and really crunched pontoon with bow. Hid damage with bow fender, but could see pontoon damaged. Wonder if he owns up when returning to base? Fortunately he decided to move to another berth. 0700 looked Ok to leave. Slight headwind so motor sailed with just main (2 reefs in case thunder squalls return), but wind soon died.  Saw a couple columns of smoke on headland No obvious civilisation so assume  smoldering vegitation from lightening strikes. Good job parked next to 60m mast for night! Saw a  flying fish skim just above waves for a good 40m or so. Kept motoring till 1330 when enough tail wind to sail. Zig zag down wind to keep genny filling – 5knts to start but when touching 10 decided to stick in a couple of reefs.Use kindle 3G to get BBC news. Sad to learn Lions lost by one point. Must get the live cover on kindle next sat. On final run in to Acciaroli decided to put in 3rd reef and fold up much of genny as now f6. Marker at end of mole is a large white Madonna.  Didn’t notice  if Allo Allo style as a tad busy stowing sails and preparing fenders. Helpful Ormeggiatori show us a gap to moor – usual sternline. 40 euros – note would be 50 if over 10m. Fortunately ships papers do not include the bowsprit, even tho loa is supposed to ignore anything bolted on. And prices go up in a couple of days for July/Aug. Great place ashore – fishing port/holiday resort –  ordinary Italian families here (granny to grandchildren) all looking v happy. Loads of kids – looks like schools broke up yesterday.Quaint narrow car free streets – pilot says a gem. Quite so.Found double levitated bread rolls in baker – that actually taste like bread Interestingly bread is sold by weight. So enamoured by the ambiance we stopped for a couple of beers at quayside bar – 5 large , 1 picollo for less than 20 euros. Much cheaper  than The Swann! Flat calm last thing. Amazing change from when we came in . Note Oppi national championships being held here next month. Also see neighbour with shredded genny – saw them taking time to stow sails as they had approached just before us – now know why. We’re heading off on long 24hour leg tomorrow, and hopefully volcano spotting on the way. Night night
