Friday 5 September Stop in wonderful cove 1nm NE of Frikes for swim and breakfast. Good sail N to Sivota, inlet on S Levkas

Depart Frikes 1000, Depart cove 1315

Arrive Sivota , settles e on our stroll yesterday, so creep round coast to it. Anchor in 25 ft for swims and breakfast. Just us. Delightful.After much lazing about head N. Good f4 blowing WNW round N Ithaka settles to W f3, so cracking reach N across to Island of Levkas then some f4 again as dead run right into Sivota inlet. Loose wind just before turn to port, so drop main without changing heading. Anchor well in but still 26ft.Decide swinging too close to good friends Alain and Ann (Odyssee) from Messolonghi, so reanchor bit further away. Settle well. Note Brit to windward on ex Sunsail yacht is dragging towards us. Steep angle on chain- looks like not enough out. He merely drags anchor to windward and hopes it holds, which gratefully it does. Run ashore to see engineer and swap boat keys, but they are having a day off. Bit of shopping. Peaceful night – just a few barking dogs.
