Monday 21 & Tuesday 22 two scorchers in Gouvia, then an unexpected shower early morning Wed, so windshute left drying in shower/heads.

Wednesday 23 Hail taxi in marina for short 25euros ride to airport. Good flight back to Gatwick. Nice to stay with Sally in St John`s and catch up.

Thursday 24 July to Sunday 10 August lots going on back home. Great to see Mum, Jamie and Jen, Bridget and Sarah. Duncan, Dennis and Rose visit for Maurice`s birthday. Lots of eating and proper beer. Visits to Shed on the Exe, Turf (for LSC BBQ). Job rode his bike down to participate in the Dartmoor run for classics. Lympstone Furry Dance; moving ceremony to launch wreath to remember the start of WW1. Julie arrives too, exhausted after all the live BBC output to remember commencement of WW1. Much appreciated hospitality from Mum as we dashed here and there, and J&J for our accommodation at Barn Ridge too. Thanks to Jane and John for farewell BBQ (inside as dodgy weather).

Monday 11 August Rendezvous with Jamie at Taunton for lift to Bristol. Have booked in an extra bag to bring back bits for D`fly (for autumn voyage home) and Liveloula, to Cookiefy her
