6 September Sail S across the strait between Paxoi and Andipaxoi to get out on anchor in Emerald Bay, probably for the night

Depart Mongonisi 1215

Arrive Emerald bay 1300 3nm

Extremely good visibility – can see for miles

Temp dropping slightly. 23 degrees in cabin first thing. Pick up emails. Lovely one from Edel wishing us “Go dté sibh slán trasna na dtonnta”.(that ye may go safely across the waves) Girls go for run to Gaios, and back. Sail across strait (genoa and main) to Andipaxoi. Get good spot to anchor in Emerald Bay in 14ft. Lots of swimming. Daytrippers leave. All goes quiet. Just 3 yachts remain for the night (including D`fly). Rach loses her voice! But gelsinium has prevented bug developing more. No moon so wonderful stars and milky way. Bit rolly.TGC and Ang’s pink pop. Skip declines to leave more for girls, and opens a Bass. Not sure if any more buried in deep storage. Could be the last.
