Our plan to refuel in Melilla and then spend the night before moving on has
been foiled by less than helpful Spanish officials. In addition to the
formalities required they also asked for a minimum of 7 days mooring fees!
So we have refuelled and headed straight out again en route to Gibraltar and
should arrive at the straits at first light tomorrow. Yesterday gave us some
good motor sailing in light northerly's before the wind died and we had to
motor overnight, for the first time on this trip we had a consistent current
with us adding a knot to our speed over ground. Winds remain light and the
current has turned against us once more.
