We spent Easter in Hiva Oa, went to a
concert where the local people took turns singing, dancing and playing
various instruments Polynesian style.

We hired a car and to look around the island
with Rick and Tobias of "Free Style", Rick drove and Tobias and Steve got to
ride in the back.
We stopped to photograph an incredible pyhcedelic
tree, the trunk was made up of brilliant natural colours
We also visited an ancient cermonial site that had
been renovated for a recent gathering of Marquesans islanders, there were an
amazing array of carved wooden Tikis.
