While walking along the beach on Waya, the first of
our Yasawa islands we met Toby and his girlfriend Nicole
who were on an extended holiday travelling through
fiji and on to New Zealand. They had stayed in Yalombi and
were waiting for a boat to take them up to the next
village in the north of the island. A lift was offered and accepted
and during the short voyage north Trish and I
decided to invite them to spend a few days with us as we travelled the the
island chain.
Not only were they great fun, willing to help with
all jobs but they were also both very good cooks, we did eat well.
