We sat out some heavy rain and strong winds in Oponohu Bay, Moorea and have
now sailed across to Huahine and are anchored in the channel between a large
Motu on the outer reef and the bulk of Huahine Iti. A great anchorage in
clear turquoise waters over white sand. We plan to visit a number of the
inner reef anchorages as well as Fare, the main town on Huahine Nui. The two
islands are separated by a small, shallow channel but joined by a road
bridge.
I'll put some pictures from Moorea and the Tahiti/Moorea sailing rendezvous
on the Blog as soon as we get wifi coverage.
