We are now en route to Kumai on the south coast of Borneo but will break the long passage into 4 legs, island hopping our way NW.

The first leg of 75nm has brought us to the island of Raas, another small island whose population survives from subsistance fishing.

As we anchored we were met by a number of local fisherman in small boats eager to sell fish, lobster and a strange prawn/crayfish like creature.

Tomorrow we plan to head west along the island of Madura to find an anchorage for the night before we head north to Bawean.
