We have come south 44nm and anchored in the bay near Gran Tarajal.
>From here we will make the short journey down to the southern tip of the
island tomorrow and wait in Puerta Morro Jable for suitable winds for the
crossing to Gran Canaria.
Having had three weeks of high winds and unsettled weather in Marina Rubicon
when we have had friends and family on board, we now have a large area of
high pressure keeping winds light and the skies cloudy.
>From her it is almost due west so 15 to 20 knot northerlies would be
perfect.
