We have begin the journey west to Cartagena in Colombia where we will meet
Glenn and heather who are flying in for a couple of weeks.
The 65nm trip across from Curacao was a rolly downwind sail in the building
trade winds. The rest of the 400nm passage has a reputation for being one of
the worst sea passages in the world due to the strong trade winds,
shallowing seas and counter currents. I hope that we have chosen a good
weather window to make the passage!!! Hopefully we can make the trip across
to a couple of small islands off the coast of Venezuela tomorrow for another
overnight stop.
