Well we have survived north west Spain’s notorious Costa Da Morte and rounded Cape Finnestaire and will

now head down the Atlantic coasts of Spain and Portugal.

We also decided to put into Portosin near the head of the Ria de Muros and take a day out to go to Santiago De Compostela by bus.

Designated a world heritage city the old city on the top of the hill is a must see with the cathedral dating back to 1075!

It would also have been good to have spent more time in the NW Rias but we need to press on south in case we hit a prolonged spell of bad weather.

We were also pleasantly surprised to receive an e mail with two photos of Curious flying her cruising chute.

These were taken on her commissioning sail in the river Orwell by a sailing instructor on a boat we passed who then sent them to us via Oystermarine.

Weather permitting we will move on to Bayona tomorrow, our last stop in Spain before we enter Portuguese waters.
