We will leave the Marquesas this evening for the
500nm passage to Manihi in the North East Tuamotu archipelago.
It is hard to imagine a greater contrast in
landforms between these two isoland chains, with the high, lush green volcanic
Marquesas islands giving way to the low, barren Coral Atolls that make up the
Tuamotus.
What we lose on land we will gain underwater with
some of the best snorkelling and diving in the world.
Can't wait!
