From the ranger station on north Rinca we headed NW back to Gili Lawa Laut for an overnight stop and then a further 15nm NW to the samll island of Banta for another afternoon snorkelling in the crystal clear waters.

After a good nights sleep we left early for the 220nm trip along the coasts of Sumbawa and Lombok to Medana bay and one of the recognised stops on the Sail Indonesia rally.

We will stay here only two nights before heading over to the three Gili islands for a few days before continuing on to Bali.
