There is now 30 minutes to go before the start and as you can tell by my ability to write this e mail, things are far more relaxed than the start of the Arc.

Not only is there only half the number of boats but this is a rally and not a race, although there is the darwin to Ambon race due to start later.

Most boats are still at anchor, including Curious and we are anchored just south of the southern end of the start line so plan to up anchor and sail off into the distance.
