The Singapore Botanical gardens were like a little piece of paradise
The gardens were established in 1859, they cover 52 hectares, with a
herbarium, a botanical library, a cool Orchid house and 4 hectares of
primary rain forest
The day was hot and uncomfortably humid with not much shade but the
flowers were worth every second of focusing the camera
This one is called "Lady Di"
There is also a beautiful Orchid garden
We just happened to visit the gardens on the last Sunday of the month when
there are open air concerts on the Symphony Stage
The atmosphere was wonderful with music, beautiful flowers and families having
picnics on the lawns, we had a great time
