During November, two of the Malaysian Rallyers had
their 60th birthdays,
it was decided that a party was in order
The organisers of the Rally kindly said that we could use their dining hall,
tables, chairs and music equipement, the staff helped set up and a DJ
came to play the music that Steve and Ken had carefully selected .....
Beatles, Thin Lizzie, Elvis, Beach Boys
etc.
 It had been suggested that a sixties theme would be
appropriate and everyone
rose to the challenge ..... hippies and flower power were very much in evidence
 Everyone brought food to share and there
was even an
ice cream cooler
for
everyone to help themselves

 After a great time
dancing the night away, the evening was deemed a great
success, finishing
about 11.00pm
.... very late considering 9.00pm is
sailor's midnight!
