We will leave Musket Cove at around 10.00am local time (10^th November) having checked out from Lautoka yesterday afternoon.

After a good meal at the resorts restaurant, a good nights sleep and a hearty breakfast prepared by Todd we are good to go!

The weather looks as though the first two days may be boisterous with south easterlies and 20 to 25 knots of wind before it turns back into the east and settles down to 15 to 20’s.

At present we cannot see what will happen for the run in to Opua as there is a windless high predicted for the northern part of New Zealand.

Still, with high winds forecast for Fiji over the weekend and a 20^TH November Deadline for Auckland the times seems right to head south.
