The Oyster Regatta overlapped the annual gathering of some of the greatest Classic yachts in the world.

Despite the worldwide recession, 2009 was no different with a large entry of boats of all shapes, sizes and ages.

We were fortunate to see a number of the race starts as well as walk the dock and get some fantastic close ups with Katie showing off her developing photographic prowess.

Here are a selection of some of the great photos that she took and if you want to see more of this fabulous annual event check out Tim Wright's website at www.photoaction.com Tim photographed Curious at the finish of the ARC when he got so close I was convinced we had run him down, and he was there most days during the Oyster Regatta.
