As we sailed south the landscape became more
mountainous, compared
to the flat reef islands we had seen in the north.
The island of Timoro is in
the south west of the Bone Rate archipelago
The outrigger boats left in the early evening
to go fishing for the night
Although the school was closed for Ramadan we left
some school supplies
with the teacher's assistant, the students spoke
good English and seemed
more used
to visitors to their island
This lady chatted to us in excellent
English
The village seemed a little more affluent than
other villages we had seen
different faiths are practised in Indonesi,
the Muslim faith is predominant and
some of the ladies choose to cover their heads
with traditional headwear
All villages and towns have at least
one mosque
Within this island group there are
a two other villages, supplies are easier to
obtain here, as we were leaving this boat came
in with a someone's furniture
order
This chap was very colour co-ordinated
