During our travels we've seen some stunning flowers and plants, something we both appreciate, some of the
Caribbean islands have lovely botanical gardens
     
The Pacific islands have fabulous flowers just about everywhere 
 
New Zealand and Australia have beautiful, big flowers and plants 
 
But for some reason here in the Idonesian islands there doesn't appear to be many flowers, mostly they are in
resorts or in the occasional garden
The one exception is the Dongkala tree, it always grows by the ocean and the little flowers look to have only half
their petals, they say this half is the young woman waiting for her lover to come back from the sea                    
A nice romantic story ..........
If anyone can identify this flower, we see it in most places, could you let us know please
