With leg 1 taking us as far as the Canary Islands and Leg 2 bringing us
across the Atlantic, we have now completed Leg 3, our Caribbean cruising
season. We will take time out here in Grenada to see something of this
beautiful and friendly island as well as preparing the boat for the next leg
across the Caribbean coast of South America, the off lying islands of
Venezuela, The Dutch Antilles, Colombia and Panama, before arriving in
Shelter Bay at the eastern end of the Panama Canal where we will leave the
boat for a few weeks to return to the UK to spend Xmas and the New Year with
friends and family.
Curious has now travelled over 8,000 nautical miles, 39 degrees south and 61
degrees west and to be safe from the annual hurricane season we must head
further south and west by early June at the latest.
