All on board were desperate to take Curious back to St Katherine’s Dock marina but non of us were aware that our return would

co-incide with the Queen’s Jubilee Regatta. After some coercing the marina manager relented and promised to find us a berth despite

the fact that the marina had been booked up for over a year in advance.

Our passage upriver gave us the chance to see close up many of the s wide variety of sailing craft that were taking part.

Those that were too tall to sail downriver were moored on both sides forming an avenue of sail

As we approached Tower Bridge and the lock entrance to St kat’s the Bridge opened to allow the Tall ship tenacious to pass through.

A memorable end to a truly memorable 4 year adventure
