We left Barbate at 06.00am with the promise of favourable winds for the leg
to Cape St Vincent.
After less than 1 hour the wind changed to NW at 15 to 20 knots, exactly
where we wanted to go. After 6 hours tacking back and forth across our route
we finally accepted defeat and bore away for the bay of Cadiz and have
anchored in a small bay near the marina.
The forecast says we should have northerlies from midnight onwards so we
will head out once more and see what we get!
