The west coast of Malaysia is not blessed with great cruising
grounds...until you get to the islands that make up the Langkawi group.
These high, wooded, limestone islands make for some superb cruising with
lots of good anchorages, short distances and enough of interest ashore to
make some cruisers hang out here for a complete season.
Having changed our plans to include the Kings Cup Sailing Regatta we have
about 10 days to explore the islands before we head north to Phuket.
