Having motor sailed 85nm SW to the small island of Pulat Sabibi off the NW
coast of Flores we have once rejoined the main Sail Indonesia route. For the
first time in some weeks the wind deserted us but in flat seas we made good
time after a 3.30am start.
This small anchorage on the west coast of the island is very sheltered and
has some great snorkelling in shallow water.
We plan to stay here a couple of days before heading 15nm west to Labuan
Bajo to restock before heading off to the Rinca and Komodo islands.
