The overnight sail from Kalibahi on Alor to the Wakatobi group of islands
gave us an good sail in slight seas and 10 to 15kts of wind.

The 175nm passage took just under 23 hours and we slowed to time our arrival
through the pass in the reef when the sun was high and behind us.

In the event, the pass on the SE corner of the large reef system called
Kurang Kaledupa is wide and deep with two other easy entrances on the
southern end of this large enclosed lagoon. Depths in the lagoon vary from
over 100m to 0 with a number of shoals dotted throughout but all visible and
easy to negotiate.

We plan to stay here around this island group for at least 10 to 14 days and
explore the islands as well as the reef systems.
