Following our rafting adventures Trish and I made our way to Nelson to meet up with the other 6 members of the

Sweetpea Fan Club who were also travelling around south island.

We had travelled up the west coast and headed inland at Greymouth following the road through the dry inner ranges to Murchison

and then on to Nelson. After a brief side trip to the Abel Tasman National park we drove back through Nelson and into the beautiful

Marlborough Sounds region.
