Although the abundance of Tikis throughout the islands is impressive, no less so are the many ancient sites with their stone platforms.
The extensive remains at Kamuihhei being a great example with huge boulders moved into position to form the foundations for many buildings.
All now abandoned with the jungle reclaiming the land.
