Another great 24 hour run if a little uncomfortable in the big rolling seas.
We continue on a direct line to the Marquesas with the current conditions
due to last for at least another day with reefed main and full Yankee doing
the donkey work. Although we are making great time we are not pushing too
hard and Wilson (our autopilot) is not having to work too hard to keep us on
track.
WE saw our first ship last night, a large freighter who we called up to say
hi and find out if he had seen us...he had.
Not much else to report, squid and flying fish on deck each morning very few
birds and no other yachts.
Our new SSB is working well and we are able to keep in contact via the
Panama/Pacific nets.
We are eating well, sleeping as best as possible and listening to lots of
music and talking books.
