We have now come across from San Cristobel to Santa Cruz and continue to be amazed by the Islands and the wildlife.

We managed to combine another diving/snorkelling trip, the first part to visit a sea lion colony and the second part to check out some white tipped reef sharks that rest on the sand in a narrow channel close by the shore. Trish took some great underwater photos and some fabulous video footage of sea lions playing around the four of them. I was able to dive and see about 15 of them playing around in the deeper water, they are so balletic in the water and so clumsy on land the contrast could not be more pronounced. One young sea lion came right up to my mask with its big eyes wide and copied my breathing by blowing bubbles.

On the second dive Glenn took some great photos and video footage  of the sharks being disturbed by me and Rafael and then circling around.

Another amazing day!!!
