Having picked Chris and Bethan up in Curacao we spent a week taking a look around the island. With over 150,000 people it has more than 10 times the population of Bonaire although the island is not much bigger. With few anchorages to choose from we stayed in the Spanish Waters now crowded with cruisers sitting out the hurricane season before moving off once more  around the Caribbean or like us heading west and into the Pacific. There is also a large number of long term resident cruising boats as well as 5 or 6 marinas full of local boats, hence it is always busy....so we hightailed it back to Bonaire, to share its fantastic snorkelling and diving with Chris and Bethan, to enable me to do my Advanced Open Water Diving course and............... to let Trish swim with the fishes....
