We arrived at Abaco yesterday, Friday, dropping anchor off Green Turtle Cay at 0930. After breakfast and a brief rest it was down with the dinghy, on with the spare outboard (number one having not started) and off ashore to clear in through Customs and immigration. Bit of a chase around to find the lady---but once located she dealt with it all without problems. Today we sailed all of 3 miles round to Noname Cay, nice anchorage for swimming and uninhabited apart from a beach bar selling lethal rum punch! Getting used to sailing with less than a metre under the keel---at least the charts are a deal more accurate than many we had in south-east asia. Sent from Mail for Windows |
