Heaviest weather we have had all passage. As expected, as we near the gulf stream and Cape Hatteras. We are sailing very slowly parallel to and 20 miles south of the gulf stream timed to arrive at a point from which we will cross the stream when it has quietened down hopefully shortly after dawn tomorrow. Hardly any sail up, to keep speed down in 25 knots of wind and a big uncomfortable wind chop. Hopefully it will die down tonight as it’s not pleasant!
