We've been a bit dilatory with the blog over the last couple of weeks.  Having arrived in Langkawi on 5 January, we've been enjoying some lovely short trip cruising, wonderful anchorages--and almost a week in a nice marina--for the last couple of weeks.

We're currently anchored in a lovely circular bay between 2 islands, surrounded by jungle, not another boat in sight, monkeys on the shore, sea eagles flying high then swooping and catching fish--but all very peaceful--can't remember when I did so much reading!

We've also been having the occasional swim--to cool off rather than exercise--but it ain't the Pacific!!--water nice and warm, but not too clear, and there are some jellyfish around. So tend to don our Ozzie stinger suits. Ho-hum.

We plan to continue sailing around the Langkawi islands anchorages for another couple of weeks, then back to Penang where Simanderal will be hauled out for antifouling and other work.
