Well today we sailed—or rather motored –down to Warderick Wells Cay, at the centre of the Exuma Land and Sea Park, a 200 square mile protected area of islands and seas.

The passage was unpleasant, into a big swell left over from the strong winds of the last few days. But the arrival was breath-taking---we picked up a Park mooring in a narrow stretch of water with adequate depth, surrounded by sand and coral shallows, with beaches and greenery and azure blue waters. Stunning views and very few other boats. Perhaps the first place in the Bahamas that has really impressed me!

Nice walk ashore this afternoon, and we will stay here tomorrow.
