We covered 170 miles in our first 24 hours---not bad, and a great improvement on Indian Ocean part 1!! The wind has moderated a bit now, but we’re still bowling along at over 6 knots,

so hopefully this will be a reasonably quick passage. An uneventful day—hot, sunny, quite a bit of sea running, so plenty of rolling and movement---which I’m confident will last the whole

trip. It makes the cooking a challenge—but we enjoyed lovely fresh mahi mahi last night! Another day with no other boat sighted.
