The last couple of days in Chagos have seen strong winds---well over 20 knots and gusting well over 30---and a lot of rain—we collected over 150 litres for the tanks. So
much reading done! But today the weather improved, and the forecast is for pleasant days ahead, so we’ll get back to snorkelling and fishing. Boat jobs are pretty much
done—I spent a couple of hours today cleaning the hull—not too much weed. We are now well into our second week here—how time flies in a place like this where we are totally
out of touch with the outside world. I guess in a few days we’ll have to start thinking about Indian Ocean Passage, Part 2.
