Hiya Mike and Ger!
(and am copying in others so I update my e-mail addresses for your all)
Good to hear yesterday from 10 miles off Dominican Rep.... well done!
Hope your arrival was not too formal with all these welcoming committees!
We are now back in London after a good few days up north - Ma/Granny doing well and it was good to see Alistair and Carla as well as Pat and Angus.
Had a good 2 days at St Andrews in crisp cold sunshine - lovely walks along the west sands.
No other news - time to take down the Christmas cards!
Ep and Doug

The last 24 hours were good, fast sailing--winds between 15 and 20 knots on a broad reach--a bit of a roll, but not too bad--seas are up a bit this morning and will grow--that's why we left Bequia a couple of days earlier than planned--but we'll be getting increasing shelter from the swell behind Puerto Rico and the DR. We should be in harbour sometime tomorrow morning--about 150 miles to go. Maybe have a shower today, so I don't smell too bad for the welcoming committee.
Lovely sunny morning, enjoyed breakfast--and dinner last night was very tasty--so all is well on Simanderal.
Better break off and scan the horizon--I'm on watch and Ger's asleep!
Toodle pip!
