Yesterday we had a dearth of wind pretty much aft resulting in alternating engine and sailing at 3 knots with the chute up. We had the good sense to put the chute away before sunset, resorting to genoa and mizzen in a somewhat confused sea initially making 3 knots in 7 knots of following wind, but by 2100 we were travelling fast in 18 knots of wind---and so it stayed through the night and this morning.

So an easy night---the next two promise to be more exciting with rather heavy weather!
