We are now on day 3 of our passage to Vanuatu and expect to arrive around noon tomorrow.
It hasn'r been a fun passage. The wind is strong, the seas rough, the air chillier than we are used to and skies a bit overcast.

But to top it all, our autopilot packed up yesterday afternoon, so since then Nigel and I have been hand-steering 1.5 hours about--that's about as long as you can handle it in this weather--while Ger looks after everything else. So not much sleep last night. And tonight will be the same. Lucky we have Nigel with us.
We've decided to wait until we get into Port Vila before we investigate the problem, but it looks as though we need a new drive unit--which may take a long time in Port Vila!!

So we're very much looking forward to arriving in Vanuatu!
