We sailed across the Gulf Stream last night---very obvious as you enter and exit with the strong north-east current. Quite rough, so glad to be out of it.

Today, by contrast, the wind has been dropping and we had to resort to the engine for several hours. But now sailing, albeit slowly, southwards with 10 knots of wind close reach. This should take us through the night, but expect more motoring tomorrow.

And it’s noticeably warmer---shedding the thermals at last!!

Plan to arrive Abaco, Bahamas on Friday morning to clear in at Green Turtle Cay.

All is well---enjoying the sun and calm seas after the boisterous start.
