As planned, we set off from Musket Cove this morning--customs turned up on time and cleared us out quickly, so we left the marina before 10. Out through the pass, and now on the high seas again with Fiji only just visible on the horizon.
And as forecast, it's blowing hard on the quarter and we're moving along at between 7 and 8 knots with just under 500 miles to go to Vanuatu. And there's a sizeable swell--it's a bit bouncy!!
Sunny skies, and still in swimming trunks, but the air temperature is noticeably cooler--I think it may be long sleeves tonight.
Nigel is settling in--regaining familiarity with the boat--and the changes on it since 2007.
And all is well.
