We visited a very impressive aviary on one of the Rosario Islands.  It was hidden deep in the bush and we would not have found it ourselves without the help of our delightful guide Corre Daviste.....below.   As little boys everywhere will do, he proceeded to bang the cages and tease the birds.  The baby chicken he is holding ran across our path out of somebody's smallholding.  He instantly scooped it up and took it home to his Mama.  The aviary had an amazing collection of exotic birds....one beedy eyed example below.   We were puzzled as to who owned or funded it as there was no entry fee.....perhaps a drug lord's private aviary?  Yet again we wished we could speak spanish.

The only time Michael ever wears marigolds!   He took the oportunity of relatively calm and clear water to give Simanderal's bottom a bit of a scrub, badly needed after the marina in Cartagena.

We caught this fish....some sort of tuna, still trying to identify.....between The Rosarions & San Bernardos.  It was very tasty and just the right size for two.
